From the portfolio of Cici Moss, 2009 Symphony Showhouse designerMoss opened her business in Boston in 1990.  She studied fashion and design in NYC and focuses primarily on residential projects.  She has a high regard for quality, comfort and truly inviting settings. Moss’ style is traditional with a fun flair.  It is important to her that traditional decorating not be staid and dull but lively, fun, enjoyable and whimsical when appropriate.  After a move to Charleston in 2006, Moss is enjoying designing some beautiful homes in the Charleston area.

This piazza is a comfortable space for guests to join together throughout the day and enjoy the water view and the harbor breezes.

From the portfolio of Cici Moss, 2009 Symphony Showhouse designerThe color palette is pulled from the gorgeous colors seen from the façade of the adjacent building and the palms and flora fauna.  The table and high back vintage bamboo chairs add a bit of humor to the space while the Tuscan pots filled with beautiful spring blooms  add a bit of European charm. The chair fabric is from Spain and look like they were hand painted.  The gauzy- linen draperies make the space cozy and protect from the sun.  France is so well known for their gorgeous colored striped fabrics. The striped trim is from a recent trip to Paris.  Hand designed finials and fluted poles complete the space.
